FAQ about Standup Comedy
FAQs
How did you get started in stand-up comedy?
I started performing stand-up as a way to channel my observations and experiences, from my time in the Army to my vagabonding adventures. Comedy became a way to process life’s absurdities and share them with others.
What’s your comedy style?
I lean toward storytelling with a mix of observational humor and absurdity. My set often touches on topics like poker, travel mishaps, and the unexpected lessons of everyday life.
What’s the most memorable moment from your comedy journey so far?
Meeting other comics, and writing whatever comes out of my head.
Do you get stage fright?
Absolutely! But I’ve learned to embrace it. The adrenaline keeps me sharp and reminds me that every set is a new adventure.
What advice do you have for aspiring comedians?
Write every day, get on stage as often as you can, and don’t be afraid to bomb—it’s all part of the process. Find your voice and trust that the audience wants to laugh with you.
